Giveaway: Avon Smooth Minerals Blush!

Hi all!

Sorry for not posting in a few days =) I get lazy. Anyways, to make it up to all (2)of you who read my blog, I'm gonna be doing my first giveaway!

The prize is:

Avon's Smooth Minerals Blush in Blushing Mauve!

This blush is super finely milled, 100 percent natural, and great for sensitive and normal skin. I see that this item has actually been discontinued on the Avon site so I guess it's a rare item =P. The quality of the Smooth Minerals line from Avon is much better than their usual fare, and this blush is no exception. The greatest part is that for those who are newbies to makeup application or are just normally heavy handed, this blush goes on very naturally and light, but can be layered for more pigmentation. I actually use this blush in another color, Radiance (review upcoming!). Anyways, it's a great higher end product from Avon and I recommend it for those new to mineral makeup.

The Contest:

It's pretty easy to enter.

Just post a comment below stating your favorite makeup or beauty trick, and your name and a legit email address for me to contact you by.

After about a week, I'll be using a random generator machine to pick one of you to win!

GOOD LUCK =)

  1. Hey, great site! :)

Best beauty trick: aspirin. Take it, crush it, mix it with a little water. Apply to face, let dry. Rinse off thoroughly.

Apply daily and start seeing better skin ---not that you need it, really. You suck for having awesome skin.

  2. hahaha <3 you. I'm totally breaking out on my forehead right now, so no, I don't have awesome skin, and thanks for the tip! Will be trying it out =). I was afraid you were going to say "Take it, crush it, then line it up and sniff it...Oh yeah." <3!

  3. Oh Amy. :) You would.

Seeing as the only make up I wear is eyeliner, I don't really know any "tricks." But, applying eyeliner only to the top lid opens up your eyes a bit. Rather than applying to the bottom lid too. And Connie says a bit of white eye liner on the inner bit of your top eyelid also makes your eyes look bigger. And I trust Connie. So. Yeah. :D

I would also like to take this moment to say that I enjoy reading your blog, Amy. That is all. <3

  4. Um um beauty or makeup trick. Huh. I guess it would be using lotion to remove any makeup on your face when you don't have facial wash or makeup remover. Or when you only want to get rid of something small. Yuuup.

I didn't know Avon made makeup...I've only used their shampoo. :P

  5. A beauty tip eh mate?

Well, I use vaseline on my eye lashes instead of mascara. Sometimes mascara can be too dark and I already have dark eyes.

So to have the effect of mascara without the color, I put a little bit of vaseline on my finger tips and rub them into my lashes and then I use a dry and clean mascara wand to curl my lashes.

The vaseline lasts really long and my eyes look puuuurrrrty!

  6. Thanks for stopping by on my blog Mahnoor =) I really enjoyed our facebook.. um, convo haha. Anyways, thanks so much for your beauty tip! I never knew you could use Vaseline that way, that's awesomesauce status. Just curious, doesn't it ever like melt into your eye or get on your eyelid?

  7. My favourite brand is Pupa, a line from Italy which cannot be found out of western Europe. Oh, the colours, the packaging - gorgeous.
My tip would be to never feel constrained by seasonal colours or what the norm might be. For example, I would wear red eyeliner and neon orange lipstick year-round, day or night.
